Morzine Property Update April 2018

18th April 2018 | Morzine

Our new Morzine property agency opened in time for this ski season and its amazing snow. Has the property market in Morzine reached the same levels? We asked Free Spirits Morzine expert, Magda Przybylska, how the season had gone so far:

“ Our new agency has really ignited interest amongst the predominantly UK based buyers in resort.  Across all the French ski resorts that Free Spirit sell in, Morzine enquiries have been at the forefront.

It’s clear to see that there’s a shortage of larger two and three bedroom apartments around the 500 – 700,000 Euros price range. Morzine is a fabulous family resort and demand for this type of property that will accommodate a small family has exceeded our expectations.

We’ve also been delighted to see that Morzine is developing a clear and defined luxury market. Small boutique developers are starting to create some stunning properties, pushing architectural boundaries and matching some of the big name resorts for quality and design. Free Spirit Alpine are the natural agency partners for this type of development and we have a pipeline of excellent properties of this type to come to market.

My tip for buyers? I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to contact us early in your search – if we don’t know about you, we can’t add you to our little black book of contacts to ring the moment we get a new instruction – that brief time is often when the really good properties get sold.

My bonus tip? As a Morzine resident I’m here all year round, the inter season period we will enter soon is often a productive time for properties to come on the market. Come out then and I can show you properties free from the hustle of high season visitors, and you’ll steal a march on buyers coming out in our busy summer season”

Magda is Free Spirit Alpines Agent in Morzine, and is encyclopaedic in her knowledge of this fabulous dual season resort.  See all of her properties for sale here on our Morzine Property Page
