This development is just 10 minutes by bus/car from the Ardent telecabin. The free ski bus route goes through Montriond and there’s a bus stop 2 minute walk from the development. These buses run frequently back and forth thought-out the winter. The drive down past the lake is full of stunning views of the valley, and with the lack of traffic, the fastest way to get to the telecabin and the slopes. With the Ardent telecabin taking you up to Linderets plateau, from here you can access the whole of the Porte du Soleil.
It is a 5 minute walk from the apartments to the center of Montriond. Montriond has a school, medical centre, ‘Morzine Source’ award winning best bar ‘La Marmotte’ (three years running), and the best Pizza in the valley (in our humble opinion). The weekly market is home to traditional butchers, fishmongers and grocers selling local produce such as tasty cheeses and fine meats. The village is very pretty not least because of the abundance of sunshine it receives, and the gorgeous views. For those looking at a night out in the neighbouring town of Morzine, taxi services are readily available or 35 min (2.7 km) walk from Montriond to Morzine’s centre.
